Important: Carbon Fibre should not be cut using an electric tool because of the danger of possible electrocution  

The Perma-Grit® Large Rotary Files have a 6mm diameter shaft and are designed for use in air tools. However, they will fit in both pedestal and hand drills and although the speed will be quite slow in comparison to an air tool, they will in most cases, still do the job.

The Rotaries should be fully inserted into the chuck and tightened before using. Maximum speed to be used at is 20,000 RPM (Low - medium speed). Use below 10,000 RPM and they will not melt, crack or chip Perspex, Plexiglass or Lexon. Lubricate with WD40 or similar if using on aluminium to reduce loading

They are only available in coarse grit.

They are perfect for commercial users, but can also be used in a drill by the hobbyist .
